This is Clarke's Quay, a newly-developed residential and commercial area in the southern area of the city. Singapore is a very modern city by anyone's standards. However, it is severely limited in terms of space, and traffic congestion is one of its main concerns. |

Singapore is particularly attractive at Christmas, when Orchard Road takes on a special charm, lit up magnificently with lights, nativity scenes, and other displays. |
